Wide variety
of vineyards

We have a wide variety of vineyards, mainly old vines planted in bush formation at an altitude between 450 and 550 meters, between two mountain ranges: the Sierra de Cantabria to the north and the Sierra de la Demanda to the south, a mountain barrier that crosses the Ebro River. It is a land with a continental climate with a marked Atlantic influence, which favors the cultivation of vines.

The majority are located in the town of Briones and also in the neighboring town of San Asensio, where there is a small late 19th-century vineyard of the Garnacha Tinta variety. This vineyard is planted ungrafted, making the plant unique, without American rootstocks and resistant to phylloxera.

Vineyard
Las abejas

A 0.41-hectare plot located at an altitude of 490 meters, planted in 1973 with the Garnacha Tinta and Mazuelo varieties. The soil is sandy and gravelly, with a large number of boulders, and faces northeast. The shallow soil allows for limited development, producing small, excellent-quality bunches.

Vineyard
El hospital

A small 0.35-hectare plot of Tempranillo and Viura, planted in 1970 at an altitude of 470 meters. It faces southeast and features a soil with a high proportion of limestone. The soil is not very vigorous, which means the vines do not produce many grapes and ripen perfectly.
